Welcome

Regina Hofmanova is a choreographer/director whose distinctive work is a quirky blend of theatricality and musicality.

Her unique style is derived from everyday gestures extrapolated into contemporary dance movement – creating approachable dance theatre, laden with black humour, surrealism and the absurd. Her movement vocabulary comprises modern dance, jazz, ballet, and Argentine tango – and she has choreographed for a broad range of productions.

In addition to her own dance theatre pieces, Regina’s work encompasses opera, and musicals – where she has collaborated with such renowned directors as David Pountney, Nic Muni, Roman Hovenbitzer and Jiri Nekvasil. She has also created solo choreographies and figure skating routines.
